Before you install
For network licenses and for the free trial, SPC and SPP need LM - License Manager reachable on your network — install it first, on any Windows machine on the same LAN. No valid license yet? SPC starts an automatic 30-day trial, so you can try it today. On a single PC you can also work without the server, with a stand-alone license.
