Batch mode
SPP can post-process a file with no user interaction at all, so it can be called directly from a CAM system's post button, a script, or from another application — such as SPC, which uses this mode to generate the G-code it then simulates.
Syntax- ConfigFileName
The configuration file name only (not a full path) — SPP looks for it in its own configuration folder under the current user's application data. - InputCLFile
Full path to the APT/CL file to post-process. It must exist. - OutputFile
Full path where the generated G-code is written. Next to it SPP also writes<OutputFile name>.tools.xml(e.g.Part01.tools.xmlforPart01.nc), the list of the tools of the CL file — number, name fromPPRINT/'Tool n is <name>.', type andCUTTERgeometry — used by SPC for the simulation. - Options (optional)
A string that can contain:W(uppercase) — run with the window maximizedw(lowercase) — run with the window minimized- a number from
0to19— forces the machine kinematic type for this run, overriding what the configuration specifies
In batch mode SPP hides its menu, side panel, status bar and toolbar, showing only a small output window while it compiles and runs the script, then closes automatically once the file has been written.
Note: batch mode still requires a valid network license at startup, exactly like the interactive application: if none is granted, the License window opens before the run — see License. There is no trial mode for SPP: if the window is closed, the file is post-processed in demo mode and no output file is written.
